How To Commission Your Own Neon by Kemp London

Steve Earle shares his top tips on how to commission a show-stopping neon of your own!

Whether you're planning your annual seasonal festivities, adding the last touches to your campaign or film production, or simply want to LIGHT UP your home with a little something extra, then check out KEMP London's managing Director Steve Earle who shares his top tips for commissioning your own work of art exclusively for TOAST.Life!

Steve's Top Tips For Commissioning a Neon

  • Have Your Sketch At The Ready - We can bend most designs in glass; we just require a rough sketch to work from.

  • The Proposed Background Is Important - Think carefully about the proposed background it is to be placed onto, neon is fragile so should ideally be positioned out of harms reach.

  • Light Coloured Walls Work Well - Neon works well on light coloured walls where an amazing wash of colours can be reflected onto the background.

  • Choose From 20 Different Neon Colours - There are currently 20 neon colours to choose from - darker colour backgrounds tend to absorb the light giving a more intense or stark contrast.
