Style Me Vintage

Indulge in a dose of nostalgia with our pick of the best retro party delights

Whether you describe it as vintage, retro, or classic – there’s no denying that everyone loves an element of charming, pre-loved style at a party. So if you fancy adding some vintage magic to your next do - here are TOAST’s top picks of some of the very best hire companies out there armed with an array of retro delights.

Although it’s a contradiction, there is something wonderfully timeless about vintage style. The beautiful prints, the attention to detail, the quirky and characterful objects, and the fact that it’s just so distinctive. It’s the perfect way of adding personality, fun and flair to any event; it’s immediately nostalgic and never fails to make guests smile.

But the key to vintage, like most themes, is not to add too much. You don’t want the full vintage tea set, the retro typewriter and the vintage photo booth. That might be retro overload. Avoid twee and go for charming instead. Aim for splashes of vintage mixed in with modern – serve cool cocktails in pretty vintage teacups, set up modern and imaginative sweetie tables using old scales and retro paper bags and serve up delicious ice cream sundaes from an charming vintage bicycle!

To help you choose just which element of nostalgia is right for you, here is TOAST’s pick of some of the very best vendors and suppliers out there armed with an array of vintage charm.
