Revelry Events’ Top Tips For Your NYE party

TOAST chats to Revelry Events to get their top tips on how to throw a BANGING party this year!

Some things in life are easy... But being the host of the annual NYE get together is definitely not one of them! So to make your event planning process less stressful, here are event planning pros Holly and Susannah's top tips!

Keep food bitesize and easy to eat while chatting

Bear in mind most of your guests will be showing up later than they would to a normal party so probably will have eaten a meal.

Keep costs down

Keep costs down by offering a limited bar and asking guests to bring a bottle of their favourite drink.

A Prosecco bar is the way forward

A Prosecco bar is a great idea to give guests variety without breaking the bank - stock it with flavours, garnishes and fruit so your guests can mix up their own.

Metallics are always a great option for NYE decor

You won’t be hard pressed to find it around this time of year and a little goes a long way.

Games are a great idea for a New Year’s party

But keep them optional. Alcohol-fueled card or board games are a brilliant way to pass the time before and after midnight but bear in mind not everyone will be up for it and you don’t want ‘enforced fun’.

Get silly with your props and decor

Oversized glasses, confetti push-pops, piñatas and temporary tattoos! Remember to snap these memories with a DIY photobooth or Polaroid station!
