Sunday Papers Live came out of a conversation in 2012 between two festival producers Ben DeVere and Joshua Greene - how to recreate the atmosphere of our festival discussion tents in a city? Originally produced as part of Secret Productions, Sunday Papers Live offers a cosy Sunday retreat of talks and discussions, with writers, musicians, poets and comedians, that bring the broadsheets to life. Packed full of worn settees, oversized chesterfields, tea, cake, and piles of papers and of course the all-important Sunday roast, served as a long-table banquet by Forgotten Feast chef Tom Hunt, with food piled high and meats from the best organic farms. The Sunday Papers Live is set out to provide nothing less than the ultimate Sunday, bringing back together its vital elements as communal experiences - papers, roasts, walks & close company. The editorial policy of Sunday Papers Live is proudly left of centre and works upon the assumption that everyone is interested in everything. They firmly believe that there is no such thing as a bad pupil, only uncomfortable seats and a lack of decent cocktails.
